About Planning Commission
The Planning Commission assists with long range planning and to encourage high quality development by making recommendations to the City Council on planning and zoning related issues. The Commission reviews requests that City staff present at monthly public hearings, and considers the projects with city zoning code acting as the guiding principle. The Commission then votes and makes a recommendation to the City Council, to be reviewed at a future City Council meeting.

Planning Commission Meetings
The Planning Commission meetings are held on the first Monday of every month, holiday schedule permitting. Meetings start at 7:00 p.m. at the Rogers Community Room. The public is welcome to attend.
